I am wondering today why BRITANNIA and PETRA continue to double the visit and download stats of the other two stories. Even as HISPANIA and CALEDONIA stats have soared, the other two consistently double the numbers.

Feedback for Marc and Antony continues to be positive, [5 stars again, I thank you] but is there something in Luc or Seth - or is it Maia and Jaida - that make them more fascinating?

Is it geographical? Are readers drawn to the mystical Middle East? Can ISIS still command the attention of the world?

I think women are sometimes drawn to injured or damaged men, there is in us a need to nurture and soothe; but I’d love to hear what you think.

The email address is always there, as you know; or if you would like your comments to be seen and discussed by others, comment here rather than on the online novel sites.

Thanks again to all my readers, and thanks to those of you who have taken the files to your own blogs, share sites and directories. Hi to the folks from EvBoards who dropped in to read and say hello, too.

Hello friends.

I checked stats last night and want to thank you all so very much for your continued support.

Four new sites have picked up the PDFs for free download. I realize that many people have the smarts to google up my blog, email and googlesite to comment, but as the books move into the wide world, there is no link with them to bring new readers to the home pages. [or for me to follow their progress]

Of all things, I forgot to put a link into the PDFs so readers who find the books through new sites can call and say, Hi.

PDF downloads are into 5 figures, and that is up there with published hardcopy. Not bad for bin liners, that were thrown up without any advertising. Their success is entirely due to the goodwill of readers who have passed on the file or the name.

Oh - and those wonderful people who man the directories that listed the MSS in the first instance. Thanks to them, too.

Don't forget, if you find a great online read, pass it on to all your friends, and take the time to comment. Please don't think authors are too busy to care what you thought of their work.

All they see are the numbers - the visitors and the download statistics, where in the world their readers live and the number of times a person comes back to visit and read - but unless you take the time to comment, there is no way to know whether you enjoyed the story or not.

And don't forget to tell everyone that online fiction is of the same standard (and better) as the work you will find on the pulp shelves.

Preconceptions don't change themselves, people have to speak of their positive experiences or the negative voices will never be drowned out.
